Frisian Lakes
Centrally situated between the Frisian lakes, Gaastmeer is an ideal homeport for our ships. You’ll be ont the Fluessen en Heegermeer in no time! From here there are beautiful routes along the surrounding waters such as the Sneekermeer, Slotermeer and Langweerder Wielen. Along the contiguous lakes, canals and other closed waters are a lot of nice and pretty authentic Frisian villages and towns to reach.

IJsselmeer
Workum is already visible on the other side. Once in Workum you’ll pass few fixed bridges and a lock, but after an hour by boat from Gaastmeer you can hoist the sails on the IJsselmeer. It is also possible and fun to makes routes to Amsterdam and Kampen over this spacious water.

Waddensea
Then there is the Waddensea! A very popular holiday destination for water sports enthusiasts. Of course, depending on the wind and the tide it is even possible to visit one of the Islands in one weekend. If you would like to visit several islands it is advisable to book a longer holiday for a long weekend, midweek or a week.
